In my search for something new and affordable this year I came across this company called Canary . The first thing that caught my eye was the name.  At first, I was like, huh?  I got curious about why they chose that name. So of course the wheels started turning, my brain immediately went to articles I had read in the past about how canaries long ago were used to warn miners about toxic fumes (which thankfully is no longer a practice).  At the same time, I was wondering, why choose this tiny, amazing creature to name your brand?  But now I see why... Finding this company was a real gem (see the connection, ugh my brain, hehe).  I now see why Canary fits, in my opinion.  Come to find out, Canary  is not only a chemical-free, face, body, and oral care brand, but they really strive to maintain a very zero waste approach when it comes to all their packaging.   All their products come in recyclable packaging, including their glass jars, and subscription boxes. So this is a special segment. I normally shy away from sharing too much personal information. But I feel this product is so worth sharing. I am sure many of you out there are familiar with the Squatty Potty . Well I have to say I have succumbed to the fascination of the Squatty Potty , with great satisfaction!  I am so glad I made this purchase. It was totally worth it. I have been using it for a couple of years now and the Squatty Potty is still going strong! Even my husband loves it. At first glance I thought, "Okay this is a little big, is it really going to fit under the toilet?" To my surprise the design of the Squatty Potty is perfect. It slides right under. So happy to announce a relaunch for The Healing Sprig!   A lot has changed in these past few years (no need to go into all that detail, but we all know why). Though times have been challenging, some things still remain the same, and I'm really grateful for that! I'm so happy to be able to get back to what I love doing, and that's to highlight wonderful companies that are making a difference in our health and on this earth. Not only do I want to keep promoting companies that will help you start an eco-friendly life (and if you already do that, good for you!
